Today in church, Pastor Todd Clark began a new series called “One”. It began with a video of how people came to know Jesus. One guys heard about Jesus from his Dad, another from a neighbor, and another heard about Jesus from a guy he bought a motorcycle from on Craig’s list. You never know who is ready to hear about what it means to be a Christian! Acts 8:30-31 states, “Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.”
It may be nerve-wrecking for some, but God calls us to be disciples of Jesus! This sometimes means putting ourselves out there and asking people questions to see if they need help understanding God’s Word! I challenge you to be the “One” and put yourselves out there so one day someone might be on a video saying that they came to know the Lord because of YOU!
